Plank pose physically awakens your whole body~ But plank has another side. Looking at this posture from a bodymind perspective, when your upper body is weak, it connects to your inability to choose to do what you really want. Your arms, hands do the work of your heart. Can you picture it? Through this posture, you become capable of bringing what you want towards you and pushing what you don’t want away.
**Plant your hands, bring your wrists under your shoulders, press down through your hands so that you reach up through your upper back up and straighten your legs by reaching your heels back. Instant whole body awakening!! 😋 Repeat this posture everyday, standing for even just a breath longer, and you will begin thinking more clearly. Decisions will become easier. You will become more centered.
